I cannot say how much I am enjoying the ongoing saga of this seal team. On the face of it they are such big bad asses, but under it all they are caring, decent men placed in sometimes untenable situations. I loved Dude and his whole take charge attitude both in and out of the bedroom. And, beleieve me, the bedroom scenes were something else! Cheyenne is another one who thinks she is just a normal, uninteresting person, maybe even unattractive to any hot man. Again, the underlying moral of Susan's stories is that any woman, regardless of her looks and appearance, are worthwhile and deeply interesting. Gives us all hope! As Cheyenne feels her job as a 911 operator is nothing special, just as she eels about herself. A horrific encounter with robbers and a bomb cause her to do a selfless act that changes Dude and brings them toward one another. The storyline is riveting, both the dangerous situations with the thugs and the heartstopping action between Dude and Cheyenne. I absolutely love the was Susan mixes in all the characters from her other novels, and have to admit I have now read them all.. They are totally addicting and I highly recommend them!!!!

Author Susan Stoker has done it again! Every book in the Seal of Protection series has been great and #5 is no exception.

Faulkner "Dude" Cooper is a Bomb Ordnance Specialist with the Seals team. Dude is cool and calm under pressure, always in control. Seeing his teammates fall in love with women he describes as strong makes him long for a woman of his own. He didn't think he would find her in a dangerous situation with bombs strapped to her body!

Cheyenne Cotton is a 911 operator who does not see herself as a hero. She is quiet and keeps to herself. She has been put down by a neglectful mother and a jealous older sister. She can't see how much she impacts the lives of those who call in to report an emergency.

When Dude and Cheyenne meet, it is hot, hot, hot! Can Dude make her see that what she does matters and makes a difference? Can Cheyenne let Dude have the control be needs? You will truly love reading this book to find out.
